The in-game chat has different features including public chat and "whispering".

- Global-1 - Server wide public chat, or single language specific public chat on shared servers (UK English/Dutch, US English/Spanish, French/Italian)
- Help - Same as above, intended for asking/answering questions about the game
- Guild chat - Chat room visible only for your guild members
- International - Shared chat across two language chatrooms in dual language servers
- Whisper - Private chat between two players
